Behavioral Specialist in School Setting | Jacksonville, Florida

An opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide specialized support within K-12 self-contained school programs. This contract position focuses on assisting educators in implementing effective behavior strategies across multiple schools.

Location: Jacksonville, FL
Duration: January 5, 2026 May 28, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Assignment: Itinerant role supporting 5-7 schools (specific schools to be confirmed)
Setting: On-site only

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement behavior intervention plans
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and assist with data collection
• Model strategies and provide hands-on guidance to educational staff
• Offer observations and recommendations to improve student behavior and learning outcomes
• Support K-12 self-contained programs but do not provide direct student services

Qualifications:

• Active and valid BCBA licensure is required
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings, especially self-contained classrooms
• Strong skills in behavior analysis, assessment, and intervention development
• Ability to travel between multiple school locations within the district
