Experience : Minimum of 2 years of EP Tech experience.

License : Valid state license required.

Certifications :

ARRT (CI, V, or R accepted)

BLS

ACLS

KMBIRT (pending submission acceptable)

Must-Have :

Experience with EPIC charting system is highly preferred.

No tattoos or piercings that are not compliant with facility standards.

Nails must be natural and less than 1 / 4 in length.

Description :

The Electrophysiology Tech performs procedures on adult patients under the direction of a qualified cardiologist.

The role is focused on the accurate diagnosis and treatment of heart arrhythmias while ensuring maximum patient safety.

The tech acts as the first assistant during diagnostic studies, therapeutic ablation procedures, and surgical device implantations.

Responsibilities include reviewing pre-procedural assessments and communicating pertinent data to the cardiologist.

The tech assists with the education of new employees and mentors students observing in the EP lab.

The role involves developing performance improvement activities, data collection, and implementing changes for best practices.

The tech also maintains an accurate database of implantable devices.

Other duties may be assigned as required.

All diagnostic and therapeutic equipment must be operated safely and correctly.

The tech applies principles of radiation safety and protection throughout their work.
