POSITION OVERVIEW

The Simulator Technician II provides technical support to multiple devices under the Warfighter Training & Readiness Solutions (WTRS) Contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

• The Simulator Technician II position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic equipment for the following devices : UH-60M Black Hawk Aircrew Trainer (BAT), CH-47F Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator (TFPS), CH-47 Chinook Helicopter Maintenance Trainer-30 Level (CHMT-30), CH-47F Cockpit procedural Trainer (CPT), and Flight Training Device (FTD), Black Hawk - M Maintenance Trainer (BHMT-M).
• Utilize spare / repair parts to address faults and perform preventative maintenance in accordance with technical guidelines.
• Research and select necessary repair parts.
• Enter work order data accurately and timely into the online management information system.
• Apply technical knowledge to solve routine electrical, mechanical, and computer issues by interpreting manufacturers' manuals and schematic drawings.
• Perform inventory of spare / repair parts in accordance with contractual guidelines.
• Ensure all paperwork and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide technical support and training to system operators.
• Other duties as assigned.
• This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS Locations
