EVS Utility Porter
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
Organize and lead special projects and work assignments, while coordinating same activities with other EVS team members and other departments.
Plan, organize, and track special projects and deep cleaning activities to maximize effectiveness of tasks.
Perform all Utility Porter functions as required such as : spot cleaning and extraction of carpets and upholstery, clean mirrors, windows, and pictures and frames, clean vents and covers on HVAC units, and biohazard cleanup as required.
Clean escalator landings, glass and metal.
Ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment; make arrangements for repair and / or replacement of used and damaged equipment. Report and communicate equipment needs to management.
Listen and respond to guest inquiries in a positive and professional manner.
Provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to team members as needed.
Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Knowledgeable and proficient in all EVS equipment, chemicals, & techniques.
Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards.
Ability of simple reading, writing, math, and complex task completion skills is required.
Must have the following skills : coordination, analyzing, supervising, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, independent judgment, and decision making.
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Education and / or Experience
Minimum 1-2 years' of EVS Utility Porter experience or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is occasionally sitting and constantly standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and balancing during the duration of their shift.
Must be able to constantly lift / carry and push / pull up to 50lbs or less.
The team member will have constant repetitive use of both feet and both hands. Team member will have constant light and firm / strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

Work Environment
Work performed indoors and outdoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around electrical devices.
Team member may have to work in confined areas, extreme heat, extreme cold, wet and / or humid conditions as well as around dirt / dust, moving objects, high places, and slippery surfaces.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud at times and possible exposure to vibrations.
Team Member may be exposed to fumes / odor and / or secondhand smoke.
