Gpac is working with a well-established industry leading nonwoven manufacturer that’s seeking a Production Trainer for the night shift at their facility in the Fort Wayne area of Indiana.

This individual would be responsible for providing comprehensive training for new and existing production employees.
Key Responsibilities :
- Training Program Development : Assist the Training Coordinator by providing technical knowledge for updating of all training materials, including presentations, manuals, checklists, and hands-on exercises, covering all aspects of production roles.
- Cross-Training and Skill Development : Provide additional training to cross-train employees on different machines or processes to enhance flexibility and career growth.
- Mentorship and Coaching : Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to employees, offering constructive feedback and support to improve their performance.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping : Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, including employee certifications, training completion dates, and training assessments. Assign and record employee training.
- Performance Evaluation : Work with the Training Coordinator and management to assess the effectiveness of training programs and measure employee progress post-training.
- Continuous Improvement : Stay current with the best industry practices, new technologies, and process changes to continuously improve the training curriculum.
- Team Collaboration : Collaborate with the Training Coordinator, Production Supervisors, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure that on-the-job training is completed effectively and efficiently while ensuring that it aligns operational goals and company standards.
Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required. Certification as a trainer in any applicable subject is a plus.Experience :Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Prior experience in training, mentoring, or supervisory role is highly preferred.Skills & Competencies :Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment.Excellent attendance and performanceExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) or similar software. Paylocity or similar LMS experience is a plus.Ability to present information clearly and effectively to diverse groups of learners.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others learn and succeed.Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee records.Physical Requirements : Ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the production facility, and occasionally lift up to [e.g., 25-50] pounds.What’s in it for you :
