Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to oversee the assembly and testing of UAV jet engines. This role is crucial in managing the day-to-day processes in our newly established jet engine manufacturing facility, ensuring both high volume output and exceptional quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage all processes related to the assembly and testing of jet engines.
• Develop training documentation and mentor assembly technicians.
• Monitor assembly processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, conducting inspections and tests.
• Establish and improve process documentation for manufacturing functions and manage the Corrective Action Requests (CAR) database.
• Develop innovative manufacturing processes focused on efficiency and output goals, with an emphasis on LEAN methodology.
• Participate in Gemba walks, ensure 5S compliance, and create visual management boards for daily communication.
• Provide ideas for continuous improvement and innovative approaches to enhance manufacturing processes.
• Address and resolve issues during assembly and testing using root cause analysis tools, and implement corrective actions.

Work Environment

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 1st shift, and 100% onsite. Each employee will be provided with their own workstation, computer, and badge. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $170000.00 / hr.
