W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Engineer Senior - GUS in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, or related field plus 5 years related experience. Prior experience must include : Configure and implement SAP S / 4HANA EWM in both decentralized and embedded environments, with seamless integration to SAP WM, S / 4 GTS, ECC, and third-party systems such as Exotec and LogistiView; Design and deploy warehouse management processes (inbound, outbound, storage, picking), analyze inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement through system and process enhancements; Debug and resolve functional and technical issues, monitor transactional data and interfaces, and provide ongoing support for production SAP / Non-SAP WMS environments to ensure operational continuity; Support end-to-end testing activities (FUT, SIT, UAT), develop test scenarios and cases, write and maintain technical / functional documentation, and participate in all SDLC phases; Estimate development effort, design proof-of-concept (POC) solutions, and track / report on system performance metrics and application health. Up to 40% remote work allowed. Up to 30% domestic travel required.

Compensation : The anticipated base pay range for this position is $154,000.00 to $164,000.00, which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion at any time, consistent with applicable law.
