What You'll Do : Assist with access control procedures for employees, visitors, and vendors at the retail location. Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail premises and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activities. Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized individuals from entering the location. Document incidents, observations, and / or activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols. Support emergency response actions in accordance with site-specific guidelines and Allied Universal procedures. Communicate professionally with staff, customers, and / or law enforcement as required. Minimum Requirements : Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
