Project Engineer

Responsibilities
- Committing yourself to the overall success of projects.
- Building effective relationships with owners, subcontractors, and team members on a foundation of trust and cooperation.
- Developing and executing plans to meet customer requirements and expectations, project deadlines, and quality standards.
- Promoting a positive professional culture and work environment.
- Organizing and assisting with document control and estimates through the bid and proposal process.
- Supporting analysis in the bid evaluation and subcontractor selection process.
- Drafting, organizing and / or distributing documents across the project management team, field team, design teams, owners, and architects; including weekly progress reports, submittals, RFIs, ASIs and drawing revisions.
- Updating and managing the procurement process to support the projects critical path.
- Participating in Owner and Architect meetings, drafting agendas and meeting minutes.
- Assisting in drafting, updating and / or coordination of the project schedule.
- Assisting in change management documentation and coordination activities.
- Seeking opportunities to assume Project Management responsibility.
- Advocating our culture of safety on all projects.
- Becoming advanced in the following applications : Bluebeam Revu, PlanGrid, & Microsoft Project.
- Occasionally traveling to project jobsites.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Great attitude and a passion for learning.Excellent communication skills.Ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.Self-motivation to accomplish identified goals with a strong sense of accountability for results.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, trades, and / or related field(s).Brahms is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
