Pipefitter Foreman
Join a rapidly growing mechanical contractor specializing in industrial and commercial mechanical work, with a focus on tilt wall construction. We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter Foreman to lead piping system installations and maintenance for chiller and boiler applications across NC, SC, VA, and FL.
Responsibilities :
- Assemble and maintain piping systems for commercial chiller and boiler installations.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required specifications using hand tools and power equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Fit and weld pipe components using appropriate welding techniques for steel and black iron materials.
- Fabricate and install copper piping systems for HVAC and mechanical applications.
- Install screw pipe and grease duct systems in compliance with building codes and project specifications.
- Perform pressure tests and inspections to verify system integrity and identify leaks or defects.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of work.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards at all times.
Essential Skills :
Proven experience as a pipefitter in commercial construction, preferably with tilt wall projects.Strong knowledge of chiller and boiler installation processes.Proficiency with materials including copper, welded pipe, screw pipe, steel grease duct, black iron, and ductwork.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Skilled in welding, threading, and pipe fabrication techniques.Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.Additional Skills & Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.Experience with HVAC piping systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment :
Work independently on commercial construction projects, with a typical workweek of four 10-hour days. Employees will receive a truck for commuting to job sites, $50 per day per diem, and hotel accommodations, along with gas reimbursement. Work hours are from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM.

Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00 / yr. Full benefits paid for. Medical, dental vision and 401K.
