Position Overview Oxford Global Resources is seeking a Sr. PCB Designer (Layout) / Librarian for a 6-month contract to hire position located in Morgan Hill, CA. The role involves high-speed, high-density multilayer PCB design using Siemens PADS Standard Plus and Xpedition, including RF, analog / digital, and flex PCBs. The successful candidate will also manage library parts creation and maintenance.

Responsibilities Design high-speed, high-layer-count PCBs, including microstrip and stripline designs, using Siemens PADS and Xpedition.

Work from schematics, mechanical drawings, and functional descriptions.

Collaborate with mechanical designers and provide engineering support.

Create documentation for PCB fabrication and assembly.

Interface with vendors for fabrication and assembly processes.

Create and maintain library parts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with RoHS standards.

Generate decal and schematic symbols for PCB design software.

Report to the PCB Design Manager based in Morgan Hill.

Requirements Minimum 6 years of PCB design experience using Siemens PADS Standard Plus.

At least 2 years of experience with Siemens Xpedition.

At least 2 years of experience as a PCB librarian using Siemens PADS Standard Plus.

Knowledge of FR4, Rogers materials, and flex substrates.

Strong understanding of IPC standards and library footprint creation.

Skills & Competencies Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Effective communication skills.

Teamwork and collaboration skills.
