Unit Notes

Will float between PCU unit and two other Med / Telemetrymetry units all will have Telemetrymetry pts.

COVID vaccination preferred; religious exemptions considered

• MedSurg / Telemetrymetry FLOAT RN
• 2 years of experience required
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required
• Shifts : 12 hours
• 36 hour guarantee with no cancellations
• EMR : Sunrise Allscripts
• Support staff on unit : Telemetrymetry techs, charge nurse, HUCs and PCTs
• Nurse to patient ratios : 1 : 5 days; 1 : 6 nights; 1 : 4 peds -also based on level of acuity
• Nurse managers don't provide patient care, but they do rounds

Float to all MS units, ER, L&D, Behavioral Health and ICU (taking MS overflow patients)
