South Dakota Licensed Clinical Documentation Specialist

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Specialist - Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) - FT Days.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive medical record documentation

Code and review home health documentation, identifying opportunities for improvement

Provide education on compliance, coding, and clinical documentation issues to internal customers

Required Qualifications and Education

Bachelor's degree in nursing required or seven years of equivalent work experience

Three years of recent clinical nursing experience required

Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure

HCS-D coding certification and current OASIS certification required

Home health experience is a must
