As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Government Site in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This armed position involves conducting routine patrols, managing access control, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. You will play a key role in fostering a secure environment while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Pay Rate : $21.12 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 10 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Tue 10 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Fri 10 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Sat 10 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points while remaining alert to potential security-related concerns.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all activities, observations, and incidents.
  • Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and / or members of the public as required in a government environment.
  • Follow all Allied Universal protocols, site-specific instructions, and post orders for armed patrol assignments.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
