iDEAL Hire is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Moses Lake, Washington.

Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location : Moses Lake, WA

Schedule / Job Type : Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities :

Perform assessments and data collection focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive patient status.

Implement patient care plans consistently, adhering to policies and established care protocols.

Educate patients and their families on care needs, readiness for learning, and self-care instructions.

Document patient information accurately in electronic or paper records, complying with regulatory standards.

Collaborate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Supervise and delegate patient care activities to nursing staff and support personnel as appropriate, potentially serving as a Charge Nurse.

Required Qualifications :

Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.

Current Registered Nurse licensure in Washington State.

BLS certification within 30 days of hire (AHA or equivalent).

Experience in acute care nursing preferred; at least one year of RN experience in specialty areas is a plus.

Preferred Experience / Skills :

Certification in Mother Baby or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is required prior to completing orientation for nurses in the Mother Baby Unit.

Experience with fetal monitoring and specialty certifications (e.g., RN-C) is preferred.

Completion of advanced fetal monitoring courses such as AWHONN’s Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 3 months of training.
