Lead Maintenance Technician

We’re looking for a hands-on professional who can lead, train, and support maintenance technicians across several properties, while still rolling up their sleeves to solve problems and keep our communities running smoothly.

What You’ll Do :

• Perform and oversee general apartment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Lead and train maintenance staff to ensure consistent quality and safety standards across properties.
• Evaluate maintenance performance and assist property managers in identifying training needs or skill gaps.
• Step in for coverage when technicians are out or additional help is needed.
• Maintain and repair building systems (garages, doors, siding, fences, roofs, etc.).
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident maintenance requests.
• Support resident and community events as needed.
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage (approximately one week every four weeks).
• Work collaboratively with property managers and maintenance teams to uphold Toonen’s high standards.
