Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

Start date : As soon as possible

Float position requiring flexibility to work on various patient care units

Must maintain current knowledge and skills appropriate to age and type of patient population served

Required to communicate clearly and appropriately based on patient's developmental age

Must be knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in care delivery

Handle emergency and crisis situations as needed

Coordinate and implement patient care specific to assigned unit populations

Ensure quality care is provided efficiently and safely according to unit standards

Requires prolonged standing, walking, and heavy physical effort for positioning, pushing, and transferring patients

Must have ability to judge distance and space relationships, peripheral vision, and color distinction

Manual dexterity and fine motor coordination required

Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required

BLS Certification required and must be maintained without grace period

Graduate of accredited Registered Nursing program required

Working hours are varied with flexibility required for unexpected schedule changes and emergencies

Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and x-rays
