Glen Park Senior Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to assist our residents in daily living activities, creating a supportive, healthy environment where they can thrive.

Job Summary:

  • As a Direct Care Staff member, you will assist elderly residents, convalescents, and individuals with disabilities in a care facility setting.
  • Your responsibilities will include supporting daily living activities, helping to maintain a clean living environment, and participating in the nutritional, personal care, and social aspects of our residents' lives.
  • You may also offer advice to residents and their families on nutrition, cleanliness, and household activities to help support a fulfilling lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Living Support: Provide assistance with activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.

Meal Assistance:

  • Help serve meals at mealtimes and snacks as needed.

Activities Program Participation:

  • Engage in and support the facility’s Activities Program to enhance residents' quality of life.

Ongoing Training:

  • Attend monthly and quarterly in-services provided by the facility, totaling one hour per month and twelve hours per year.

Certifications:

  • Maintain current CPR and First Aid training.

For Residents with Developmental Disabilities:

  • Align performance with the facility’s Program Design.
  • Complete specialized training for working with these residents.
  • Achieve goals outlined in each resident's Individual Program Plan (IPP).
  • Maintain detailed progress notes to track accomplishments of IPP objectives.

What We Require:

  • Live-Scan Fingerprint Clearance CPR/First Aid Certificate Negative TB Test and Health Screening In-person work location at Glen Park at Boynton , located at 1250 Boynton St, Glendale, CA 91205.

Available Shifts:

  • AM Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM PM Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM NOC Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM Flexibility required; schedule may vary based on business needs.

Pay rate:

  • $18-19/hour Comprehensive Benefits Package: Dental and vision benefits.
