Enterprise System Developer III

Job Summary

Position will perform as an Integration Engineer and will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-wide data integration solutions, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable data exchanges between critical business applications. This position requires expertise in iPaaS, API development, middleware platforms, data transformation, workflow automation, and enterprise integration frameworks. As a technical lead within the integration team, this position collaborates with business stakeholders, developers, and IT teams to develop and maintain high-performance integration solutions that align with business needs and industry best practices. This role also provides guidance to junior engineers, enforces technical standards, and drives continuous improvements in integration strategies.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelors degree and five (5) years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise data integration, API development, and middleware solutions.
• Strong expertise in Boomi, Control-M, TeamDynamix iPaaS, or similar integration platforms.
• Proficiency in API development ( REST / SOAP ), ETL processes, and database integration.
• Strong understanding of cloud integration, microservices, and containerized environments.
• Experience with enterprise security frameworks, access management, and authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML , OpenID).
• Familiarity with ERP (PeopleSoft, Workday), CRM (Salesforce), and HR system integrations.
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance regulations ( FERPA , HIPAA ), and risk management best practices.
• Certification in Boomi, ITIL , or PMP is a plus.

Other Qualifications

To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.
