Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work in a 37-bed Level 2 Trauma Emergency Department with patient ratios of 1 : 4 in zone

    • \n

  • Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 2 techs / paramedics, 5 mid-shift RNs, and 2 mid-shift techs

    • \n

  • Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 2 techs / paramedics, 5 mid-shift RNs, and 2 mid-shift techs

    • \n

  • Required to work 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks with no on-call responsibilities

    • \n

  • Work with GE monitors and MediTech EMR system

    • \n

  • Float to ED holding areas for admitted patients when needed

    • \n

  • Must demonstrate high caliber patient experience skills

    • \n

  • Ideal candidate has high energy, self-motivated, and amicable personality

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC

    • \n

  • Dress code requires royal blue scrub top and bottom

    • \n

  • Perform typical emergency department procedures and patient care

    This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 37-bed Level 2 Trauma Emergency Department with a team of 73 full-time employees. The facility is equipped with modern GE monitoring systems and utilizes MediTech electronic medical records to ensure efficient patient care. The emergency department maintains structured staffing ratios and provides critical trauma services to the surrounding community, emphasizing high-quality patient experience and comprehensive emergency medical care.
