We are seeking an Activity Aide for our Special Treatment Program. Activity Aides provide social activities and support all aspects of the daily program for residents.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of a H.S. diploma with at least 1 year experience with mental health or related care providing field.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in group work and activities for assigned residents
  • Co-facilitates and assists in group counseling per program schedule
  • Collaborates with Activity Aides and Activity Director on event planning, budgeting, and implementation
  • Responsible for assuring patients ADLs are complete and carrying out general unit functions
  • Professional growth and behavior
  • Attendance at all weekly mandatory staff and in-service meetings
  • Performance of assigned daily duties
  • Monitoring patient safety
  • Crisis management
  • Non-Violent Crisis Management
  • Carrying out interventions specified on the patient care plan
  • Treating all patients with dignity and respect
  • Performance of other duties as requested by supervisor
