Workface Planner (Electrical)

McDermott has an opening for a Construction Coordinator (WorkFace Planner) in Sabine Pass TX. The Construction Coordinator will be responsible for systematically align the engineering, materials, equipment, workforce and construction resources in general. The Construction Coordinator will work directly with the Area Construction Manager and field supervision to review resource needs and produce a weekly work plan to ensure an efficient productivity driven by the construction schedule and aiming to meet completion dates.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree / diploma preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial construction projects (O&G experience preferred)
• Must have strong skills in Excel (Use of advance features, formulas, charts, pivot tables, histograms)
• Should have basic proficiency using Autodesk Navisworks 3D models
• Must have clear understanding of a construction schedule, float and critical path concepts
• Must be able to understand and interpret progress curves
• Must be able to read and interpret technical drawing and piping isometrics
• Teamwork oriented and public speaking skilled
• Must have effective communication skills
• Must have a problem-solving mindset
