The Seasonal Tent IT Technician ensures proper operation of computer, audio, and video equipment in our holiday tents, enabling end users and clients to perform their tasks effectively. Responsibilities include installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining PC hardware, sound systems, and video equipment to ensure optimal performance. This role involves receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving issues reported via phone, email, or in person.
Essential Responsibilities :
Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance in person, over the phone, or via emailPerform troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and relevant questioningDetermine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customersEscalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnelRecord events, problems, and resolutions in support logsFollow up and update customer status and informationRelay customer feedback or suggestions to the appropriate internal teamIdentify and suggest possible improvements to support proceduresWork the hours consistent with the tent operations which may include early mornings to late afternoons as well as some weekend work.Tentative Schedule :

Education and Experience :
Proven experience as a help desk technician or in an IT customer support roleSkills Requirements :
Tech-savvy with working knowledge of computer hardware, video projectors, and TVsFamiliarity with soundboards, DMX cabling, and speakers is a plusSolid understanding of Windows systems, iPads, mobile devices, and other tech productsProficiency with Microsoft tools such as Teams, Excel, and WordAbility to diagnose and resolve basic technical issuesExcellent communication skills and proficiency in EnglishCustomer-oriented and calm under pressurePhysical Requirements :
