About The Position

Job Title : RRT Pediatrics

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Specialty : RRT NICU

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in NICU / PICU required

License : New Mexico License (can pend at the time of submission)

Certifications : RRT, BLS, ACLS, NRP

Must-Have :

• Experience in NICU and Pediatric Critical Care
• Trauma Level I experience required
• High frequency jet ventilator experience required

Description :

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist specializing in Pediatrics.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma setting.

The average daily census involves managing 6-10 ventilators.

The therapist will float to adult units as needed.

Weekend work will be required based on unit needs.

The role entails various responsibilities, including endotracheal tube insertion, suctioning, and pulmonary toileting.

The clinician should be proficient in interpreting arterial blood gases.

Travelers must comply with COVID vaccination requirements.

Religious and medical exemptions are accepted with appropriate documentation.

Candidates must submit valid documentation of required certifications.

Applicants are advised to have their NRP certification prior to submission.
