Summary
Assist Roofers and Foremen with preparing the job site and covering roofs with materials such as metal, shingles, single-ply systems (TPO, PVC, and EPDM), slate, asphalt, aluminum, wood, and related materials. May operate hand and power tools of all types.

Clean up debris from the roof surface and surrounding propertyAssist with the installation of vapor barriers and / or layers of insulation on the roof decksCover exposed nail heads with roofing cement or caulking to prevent water leakage and rustAssist with the installation of partially overlapping layers of material over roof insulation surfacesAssist with covering roofs and exterior walls of structures with metal, single-ply systems, slate, asphalt, aluminum, wood, gravel, gypsum, and / or related materials, using brushes, knives, punches, hammers, and other toolsOperating vehicles, mechanized devices, or equipmentRepair cracks, defects, or damage, using proper materialsApply adhesives, caulking, sealants, or coatingsMust be able to meet the physical demands of the jobPhysical Demands
