The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our high-volume Pediatric Neurology Clinics at the Texas Medical Center. The ideal candidate will excel at communicating with both patients and providers while ensuring an exceptional patient experience through tasks such as rooming, responding to patient inquiries, following up on provider orders, coordinating schedules, and more.

Position Key Accountabilities :
Certification / Skills :
Minimum Education :
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program OR one (1) year of experience (in addition to the three (3) years of experience required to meet the experience requirement) AND certification may be substituted for Medical Assistant training program.
Minimum Experience :
Three years of experience in a healthcare setting.
Physical Requirements :
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 20 pounds frequently and / or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
Security Sensitive :
This position is a security-sensitive position pursuant to Texas Education Code 51.215 and Texas Government Code 411.094.
