Equipment Operator

We're hiring an Equipment Operator at the LRI Hidden Valley Transfer Station in Puyallup, WA. If you're looking for a hands-on, outdoor role where you can make a meaningful impact in your community, this is the opportunity for you.

Schedule : Wednesday through Saturday, 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM. Overtime may be required depending on operational needs.

Pay : Starting at $30.12 / hour (80% of union contract rate), $33.89 / hour after 6 months (90%), $37.65 / hour after one year (100%).

What You'll Do :

• Safely operate a variety of heavy equipment, including front-end loaders, excavators, skid steers, top picks, slow-speed grinders, tub grinders, and yard vehicles, to move cans around the site.
• Assist in unloading and loading materials.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure everything operates smoothly.
• Direct traffic around the facility to ensure safety and order.
• Monitor potential hazards and maintain a clean, organized site.
• Provide excellent customer service to both the community and team members.
