The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills, and location. This position is bonus eligible.

The Strategic Planning Manager is a key part of a subfunction and will be responsible for planning, management, and development and execution of key initiatives - including new products, technologies, partnerships, and omnichannel activities.

As a Strategic Planning Manager your responsibilities will include :

• Manage, evaluate, and execute key business objectives for Colonial Penn and Washington National, including sales partner expansion, the adoption of new technologies, and business development initiatives
• Lead a team of Sales Operations Coordinators, overseeing and optimizing their day-to-day business and ownership for the delivery of partner communication, onboarding, licensing, sales platform administration, tech support, and sales data integrity
• Serve as a project manager for key sales projects, initiatives, and go to market opportunities across the Colonial Penn, Washington National, and Bankers Life brands
• Work closely with Customer Engagement, Training, and Quality Assurance teams to design and implement impactful sales support programs
• Act as a key stakeholder for sales platform enhancements by contributing to business requirements, user acceptance testing, and production validation
• Collaborate with Licensing, IT, Marketing, and Legal to ensure seamless execution of business deliverables
• Support the management of Inbound call center activities and lead distribution
• Establish scalable and measurable processes to support the long-term success of new programs
• Drive business process optimization to enhance sales growth and efficiency for internal and external sales teams
• Perform comprehensive sales data integrity checks, identify potential issues or anomalies, conduct root cause analysis, develop and implement effective solutions to address and prevent recurrence of sales process errors
• Utilize Microsoft 365 tools to design workflows, automate tasks, and enhance collaboration for critical initiatives

All associates may be asked to travel varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
