Job Description

WTOV 9 is offering an exciting fall internship opportunity where you will gain hands-on experience behind the scenes of a dynamic news station. As a production intern, you'll have the chance to learn from the three key branches of production : Master Control, Directing, and our Game of the Week Broadcasts.

You will have a chance to learn :

• Master Control : Learn how the heartbeat of the station operates, facilitating all aspects of broadcast, from coordinating news content to managing live event breaks and ingesting spots / promos for air.
• Directing : Discover how we use the Ross Overdrive system to direct a newscast. Directors are the leaders of a broadcast, ensuring that every detail runs smoothly, from start to finish.
• Game of the Week : Experience what goes into a live football production. Learn camera work, directing, graphics, and many other aspects from a live sporting event.
