Job Title : Construction Inspector

Location : Ithaca, New York

Compensation : $22 - $25 hourly

Construction Inspector

Contract to hire

Pay range : $22 - $25 / hour

Responsibilities :

• Perform field testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, and steel);
• Communicate with project managers and sub-contractors regarding inspection, observation, and testing results;
• Transportation of sample materials for laboratory analysis;

Preparation of field data and technical reports; and

Travel to various construction sites to perform inspections.

Requirements :

Asphalt and NYS HMA Certification a plus

Previous experience in a soils or materials laboratory is a plus
