Job Duties

• Create Tailored Therapeutic Plans: Assess patient needs and design specific therapy strategies that support their journey towards functional improvement.

• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, healthcare providers, and nursing staff to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapy techniques to facilitate ongoing success at home.
• Track Progress and Adjust Treatment: Monitor clinical progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain aligned with their goals.

Requirements

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continuing education and advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory
