Pay Range : $26.10 - $39.15 per hour

Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Hours Per Week : 40

Your Opportunity : Be part of our amazing OR team at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, recognized as the largest hospital in Wisconsin with a 24 / 7 heart-care team. Your role is crucial in ensuring optimal patient care during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

Utilize aseptic surgical techniques and prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for surgeries.

Maintain a clean and efficient operating room environment to ensure patient safety.

Set up, transport, and manage various equipment and essential surgical supplies.

Assist with patient positioning and function as a Second Assistant as needed.

Demonstrate knowledge of procedures and equipment used in the operating room.

Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire.

No prior experience required!

Physical Requirements :

Ability to handle a fast-paced and stressful environment.

Lift, carry, and push / pull various weights safely.

Exposure to potential hazards common in surgical settings.

Must have functional sight and hearing, and be able to wear necessary personal protective equipment.
