Location Description

The Post Consumer Brands plant in Asheboro, NC, features some of the most modern cereal production technology in the industry. Since opening in 2007, the facility has quadrupled in size. The Asheboro team of over 230 employees produces innovative cereals like Oreo O's. The town is conveniently located a few hours from the Atlantic Ocean and the Blue Ridge Mountains, offering a pleasant environment for our team members.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Support and uphold food safety and quality practices in accordance with SQF standards. Ensure all duties support plant safety, food safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Work Schedule

Qualifications

Education :

1-2 years vocational training in maintenance mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, electronics, and programmable computers. Knowledge of production machinery is essential. State licenses in boilers, electrical, or refrigeration are preferred.

Experience :

Minimum 5 years in plant and equipment maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs. An associate degree or technical certificate in Mechanics and Electronics plus two years of related experience is preferred.
