Description of the role :
Assists and supports the Director and Assistant Director in all aspects of the academy to include office management, staff and customer relations, quality control, record keeping, and physical facility.
Responsibilities :
- Develops and maintains positive, professional, working relationship with staff.
- Takes an active role in planning and participating in academy activities
- Managing and maintaining reports and logs.
- Assists in daily supervision of staff; keeps director apprised with staff concerns.
- Complete and submit required paperwork and record-keeping on a timely basis.
- Develops and actively maintains positive communication with parents.
- Assists with new hire on-boarding, including offering new staff orientation.
- Ordering paper, office, and classroom supplies.
- Monitoring all topical ointments and permission slips.
- Organizing permission slips for field trips.
- Reviewing all children’s daily reports for accuracy.
- Pass out supplies and deliveries, keeping a record of what is ordered and what was delivered.
- Answering phones and email in a timely manner.
- Recognizes parent concerns and reports them to the director.
- Assists with enrollment inquiries, follow-up, and facility tours.
- Transport children on the school bus as needed.
Requirements :
Candidate must have child care credentials and 2 years’ experience working in a child care center.Must be able to work an average of 40 hours per week.Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds.Job Location : Collierville, TN
