Regional Controller (Manufacturing Finance Leader)

Salary : $100,000-$130,000 base, plus discretionary bonus

Location : Greater Fort Wayne, Indiana

You'll be empowered to :

  • Own the full General Ledger and End-of-Month close process, working with plant management and corporate finance.
  • Develop forecasting, budgeting and cost initiatives that drive real plant performance.
  • Work on the manufacturing floor, collaborate with operations, and bring an entrepreneurial mindset to financial leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes and deliver meaningful analysis to plant and corporate leadership.
  • Direct the budgeting and forecasting cycle, preparing the annual budget, develop rolling forecasts (monthly updates), and work closely with operations to align financial targets with plant strategy.
  • Own cost accounting and margin improvement initiatives, analyze production costs, implement activity-based costing, identify waste or inefficiency, and partner with plant managers to drive cost savings and operational excellence.
  • Maintain compliance and internal control environment, ensuring GAAP-based reporting, audit readiness, proper inventory and procurement controls across multi-site operations.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or MBA is a strong plus.
  • Significant manufacturing accounting experience (ideally in a multi-site environment).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset : energetic, driven, comfortable stepping onto the plant floor, interacting with operations, and owning a process rather than just managing it.
