Maintenance Mechanic – 3rd Shift

Location : Norwich, CT

Schedule : Monday–Friday | 11 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Pay Rate : $28 / hour

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on third shift. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and building mechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Repair and maintain production machines, conveyor systems, and equipment using diagrams, manuals, hand tools, and precision instruments

Troubleshoot issues with building mechanical systems and related production machinery (compressors, injection molding machines, thermolators, dryers, and other accessory equipment)

Perform preventive maintenance on molding and production-related equipment

Handle routine maintenance tasks in molding areas (e.g., conveyors, grinders, mechanical repairs / replacements on machines)

Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Maintain a clean and organized work area, following housekeeping and environmental best practices

Qualifications & Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent required

2–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience with injection molding machine maintenance preferred

Hands-on knowledge of hydraulic equipment and PLC troubleshooting

Forklift experience required

Skilled in using hand tools and precision measuring / testing instruments

Experience working in an ISO-certified facility preferred

Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Pay Details : $28.00 per hour
