Must-Have : NY license in hand, EPIC experience

Description :

MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Specialty : MS / Tele RN.

Shift : 4x12 Days / Night Rotation.

Weekend : Every other weekend.

Holidays : Must be available for some holidays.

First-time travelers accepted.

Locals not accepted.

Must be more than 75 miles from the facility.

This role specializes in the care of patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, and post MI as well as cardiac pharmacological interventions.

Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring and emergency response : interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response / code teams.

IV therapy / phlebotomy : peripheral line care / management.

Respiratory care includes the use of nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, and non-invasive airway management.

Professional knowledge of isolation precautions is required.

This is a tertiary care hospital with a total of 528 staffed beds.

Scrub color is any combination of navy and white.

Charting is completed using EPIC.

Candidates will float to other areas as needed.
