Manufacturing Engineer - New Product Intro (Onsite)

Overview

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer to lead projects for New Product Introductions and have responsibility for manufacture of experimental engine hardware. This position offers the opportunity to work on some of the newest products and manufacturing technologies being designed and developed at Pratt & Whitney.

What You Will Do

Pratt & Whitney's Compression Systems Module Center (CSMC) is seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer to lead projects for New Product Introductions and have responsibility for manufacture of experimental engine hardware.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop manufacturing processes for new experimental engine hardware and, in some cases, phase these products into production.
• Collaborate with new product design engineers during conceptual design through detail design and initial hardware manufacture.
• Utilize MRL tools to ensure product design meets cost and producibility goals while meeting program and design requirements.
• Support experimental hardware manufacture within Pratt & Whitney and at selected development suppliers.
• Create master planning summaries, tool planning, design and tryout, and work instructions.
• Develop new process technologies, conduct first piece tryout, and deliver development parts to meet program schedules.
• Mentor newer team members as required.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including the role, function and responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
