C-17 Material Coordinator MMO (4943) SAT

The Boeing Company is on the lookout for a talented Material Coordinator to join our MMO team in support of the C-17 team in San Antonio Texas .

Position Responsibilities :

Conducts inventory of stored materials and reports deterioration / damage

Removes and issues material from storage and prepares it for shipment

Able to perform assigned duties while wearing required safety equipment

Able to perform assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrance due to weather or physical location and conditions

May order parts tools materials and equipment as required to perform assigned duties

Responsible for complying with all rules and regulations concerning health and safety tool control FOD contracts facilities housekeeping inventory control and other pertinent coverage

Reviews and analyzes production scheduling requirements to determine products materials and actions necessary to ensure the availability of sufficient materials and hardware to meet schedules

Identifies investigates analyzes and determines best solutions and coordinates the resolution of problems to ensure adherence to quality standards schedules and budgets for material costs

At times may perform in-depth analysis of complex problems related to material requirement inventories schedules and configuration control

Performs other duties as directed by supervision and management for the benefit of the company program and employee(s)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :

2 years of experience with warehouse inventory including parts accuracy and accountability

Requires Computer experience and competency

Currently have or have the ability to obtain a forklift license
