ABOUT THE ROLE

Amrize, a leading supplier of quality, construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Lube Technician to support operations at the Quarry located in Rockville, MD. This position is primarily responsible for performing regular lubrication, fluid checks, and basic maintenance on heavy equipment and plant machinery to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Lubricate Equipment : Grease and oil all heavy equipment and plant machines regularly to keep them running smoothly.
• Check Fluid Levels : Inspect and top up engine oil, hydraulic fluid, coolant, and other fluids in trucks, loaders, crushers, and conveyors.
• Change Oils and Filters : Drain and replace engine and hydraulic oils; change fuel, air, and oil filters as needed.
• Inspect Machines : Look for leaks, worn hoses, loose parts, or other issues during lubrication rounds and report problems to maintenance.
• Keep Records : Record all lubrication work, oil changes, and inspections in maintenance logs or checklists.
• Handle Lubricants Safely : Store, handle, and dispose of oils, greases, and filters safely and according to site rules.
• Assist Maintenance Team : Help mechanics and plant fitters with basic maintenance tasks or repairs when required.
