Responsibilities & Duties Include :
Process Support
- Learn the basics of manufacturing in different roles, for example :
SMT Machine Operator – Trolley Load, Machine Operation.
Selective Solder Operator – Component Prep, Assembly, Machine OperationJob ShadowingProcess Technicians
Documentation TechniciansMFG / Process EngineeringSupport for production teams in assisting with product-related challengesAssist with process improvement related to assigned areas of expertiseAnalysis of process data for the purposes of developing achievable process improvement goals and providing recommendations for continuous improvement projectsMaintenance of processes for compliance with SFE and customer quality systems, industry standards, and best practicesApplication of creative problem-solving methods for processes and product related issuesSystems
Use of various software tools for root cause and trend analysis of various issuesGeneral
Apply continuous improvement principles and actively seek opportunities to reduce waste and optimize processesFollow safety, ESD, and general shop floor guidelines when performing tasksMinimum Competencies / Qualifications :
Has obtained or is currently enrolled in their senior year to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Excellent verbal / written & interpersonal skillsBe able to work in a fast-paced, team environmentFamiliarity with problem solving techniquesExcellent verbal / written interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with standard computer applicationsSchedule : Day shift, Monday-Friday
