Evaluate and diagnose patients with digestive and gastrointestinal diseases and disordersDevelop treatment plans and ensure appropriate follow-up careMonitor the progress of patients and make adjustments to treatment plans as neededPerform endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies and sigmoidoscopiesAdminister medications and treatments to patientsEducate patients and family members about the diagnosis and treatment process Keep accurate and detailed patient medical recordsMaintain a high level of patient confidentialityEnsure compliance with all applicable laws and regulationsRequirements and Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an accredited MD or DO program and currently be enrolled in a gastroenterology residency or fellowship programExcellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsHigh level of professionalism and commitment to patient careAble to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
