The ideal candidate will deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to adult patients with a variety of medical conditions, while closely monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs. This role requires adaptability, clinical expertise, and a strong ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities : Provide direct patient care to adults with acute medical and post-surgical conditions. Monitor and interpret telemetry data to identify and respond to cardiac rhythm changes. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed. Perform ongoing patient assessments and update care plans accordingly. Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and quality standards. Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and adaptability throughout travel assignments. Qualifications : Active RN license in good standing (Compact State license preferred). Minimum 1 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical and / or Telemetry nursing. BLS and ACLS certifications (required). Proficiency with cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring. Experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech preferred. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
