Employment Verification Specialist

With a limited degree of supervision incumbents are responsible for ordering both verbal and written verifications of employment to support residential lending from pre-application to closing. This includes contacting employers by phone, email, fax, and using third-party vendors. You will also ensure exceptional communication with operations and sales partners. Primary responsibilities include :

• Use daily reporting to identify required employment verifications.
• Manage multiple shared inboxes for intake of rush requests.
• Contact employers via telephone for verbal verifications.
• Contact employers via email / fax for written verifications.
• Utilize third-party vendor websites for employment verifications.
• Accurately document loan records.
• Communicate clearly with operations and sales partners regarding verification needs.
• Track all employment verifications for timely follow-up and confirmation.
• Use Empower (POS) for loan notation, document indexing, and employment verification ordering.
