We're currently hiring in San Jose, California to support a district in need of a Special Education Teacher for the current school year.

Special Education Teacher Contract Details :

  • 55 - $59 an hour
  • Certified Special Education Teacher needed for the -25 school year for 35 hours a week.
  • Multicategorical, intellectual, learning, and / or emotional disability special education certifications will be accepted

Possible program / caseload info :

  • Special education teacher needs in elementary, middle, high, and alternative schools throughout the district.
  • Could be a combination of co-teach and pull-out services
  • Could be low incidence / autism self-contained classroom
  • Could be a behavior support specialist

    • Requirements :

  • Active California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) Teacher Certification in Education Specialist K-12 Mild / Moderate Disabilities.
  • Multicategorical, intellectual, learning, and / or emotional disability special education certifications will be accepted

    • Supplemental Health Care will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable local, state, or federal law.
