Merryhill School is seeking an on-call bus driver. This flexible position supports school operations by ensuring safe and reliable transportation for students and staff. What You’ll Do

Transport students, staff, and parents to and from school and school events.

Perform safety checks on vehicles before and after trips.

Maintain discipline and safety during transport.

Complete student attendance logs and follow transportation procedures.

Respond to emergencies and report incidents as required.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Credentials :

High School Diploma or GED required.

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements (as required by state).

Clean driving record.

Must be at least 25 years of age.

Ability to pass state and federal background checks.

Skills & Qualities :

Strong communication and attention to detail

Reliable, organized, and safety-focused.

Ability to work independently and calmly manage unexpected situations.

Comfortable working with students of all ages.

Physical Requirements

Frequent walking, standing, sitting, and speaking.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Operation of vehicles and work in confined spaces.

Ability to read and communicate clearly in English.
