Associate Provost For Faculty Advancement

Job Type : Officer of Administration

Regular / Temporary : Regular

Hours Per Week : 35

Salary Range : $160,000-$180,000

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

The Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement promotes and nurtures a vibrant climate of inclusive excellence through creative collaboration with University partners. Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement, the Associate Provost for Faculty Advancement is responsible for facilitating all aspects of office planning, development, and implementation necessary to successfully administer the university's Faculty Advancement portfolio. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

  • Program and Personnel Administration
  • Faculty Management
  • Meetings and Events
  • Website / Other Media
  • Financial Management
  • Faculty Data Analysis and Presentations
  • Research / Publications
  • Supervision

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. Minimum 8-10 years of related experience; preferably in Higher Education. An advanced degree is desirable. High level of discretion and ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to work with all levels of administrative staff, faculty, and external constituents. Demonstrated track record of providing project management, data analysis, and / or research. Excellent writing skills required, including the ability to write well for various audiences. Skilled in the use of Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency with website development / maintenance is desirable.
