Assistant General Manager
Our Assistant General Manager is primarily responsible for assisting our General Manager with directing and coordinating all daily operations. The Assistant General Manager, in coordination with our General Manager, provides day to day facility management. Together, they will partner with senior leadership to ensure vision and long-range planning for continuity of the company. Necessary qualifications include proven ability to cope with conflict and stressful situations through effective problem-solving, communication, and mediation skills, as well as overseeing compliance to established policies, procedures and guidelines, and monitoring and motivating staff.

Your role in caring for our company :
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Manage department supervisors and managers by retaining and developing top performers by understanding individuals' motivations and providing actionable feedback, as well as addressing low performance quickly, compassionately, and in alignment with company policies
- Empower supervisors to provide confident and effective leadership
- Ensure staff is aligned with corporate goals through teamwork and communication
- Effectively manage through clear, direct, and respectful communication
- Promptly alert management of material and labor shortages
- Insist on an orderly, clean, and accident-free facility
- Ensure monthly audits are completed timely and accurately, to include METRC finished goods and WIP, as well as packaging materials and raw
- Work with managers to ensure adequate inventory stock at all times by adhering to production calendars
- Ensure that facility operations comply with federal, state and local law
- Create up-to-date task lists, operating instructions, and incident reports
- Responsible for the receiving, counting, and preparing of cash deposits
- Responsible for recordkeeping and reconciliation of petty cash
- Assist in coding of invoices for various departments
- Create, approve, and / or receive purchase orders
- Assist in development of forms and tools to increase company efficiency and risk management
- Able and willing to stand in for a department manager / supervisor when they are out for short term periods such as sick time, PTO, or position turnover
- Responsible for high level of Acumatica and METRC proficiency for all transaction types
- Work continually to improve and update SOPs and tracking documents
- Provide information and assistance during MCA and other inspections
- Perform other duties as assigned
