Ragle, Inc. is seeking a Field Chief Surveyor for our operations within Southern Indiana and Western Kentucky. This is an exciting opportunity within a growing segment of heavy civil construction that offers exposure to all aspects of the land surveying processes tied to infrastructure project!

Primary Responsibilities

Perform construction engineering surveying. This includes :

Structural Layout

Set / verify horizontal and vertical control

Roadway related staking

Topographic surveys

Utility layout

Oversee and schedule daily field survey requests

Read and interpret plan data to assist with construction operations

Verify project final records and perform as-built survey operations

Quantity control and support

Assist with Machine Control setup and verification

Compliance with DOT Construction requirements

Setup, fly, and process LIDAR drone data

Qualifications

Ten years of survey experience

Bachelor or Associate level degree in land surveying

Civil 3D Experience

Transportation & Structure experience

Knowledge of Trimble surveying and machine control system

Microsoft office experience

Drafting and Design Skills

AutoCad

Civil 3D

Trimble Business Center

We offer a competitive salary based on experience, with additional compensation for individuals who currently holds an RPLS. In addition to salary, Ragle Inc. can offer additional compensation packages as well as medical, vision, dental, and retirement benefits.
