About the Role Our client is seeking a compassionate, detail-driven Radiologic Technologist who can perform both CT and general diagnostic X-ray exams during overnight shifts.
In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality imaging, prioritize patient comfort and safety, and collaborate with clinical teams to support accurate, timely diagnosis.
What You’ll Do Perform CT and general radiographic examinations per physician orders and department protocols.
Prepare and position patients to obtain optimal images with proper density, detail, and contrast.
Explain procedures clearly and calmly; ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety at all times.
Follow ALARA principles and departmental radiation-safety policies; use shielding appropriately.
Verify exam orders, capture and QC images, and transmit studies to PACS; document in the EMR.
Support contrast protocols for CT (screening, patient education, workflow with RN / physician per policy).
Maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness; report issues promptly.
Communicate effectively with providers, nurses, and ancillary staff to expedite care.
Work independently and prioritize multiple cases during a busy overnight shift.
Required Qualifications ARRT (R) in good standing.
Arkansas Radiologic Technologist license (current / eligible).
BLS certification (current or obtained prior to start).
Hands-on CT experience (e.g., head / chest / abdomen / pelvis protocols; familiarity with contrast workflows).
Proficiency with PACS and basic EMR documentation.
Strong patient communication skills; able to assist a diverse population with empathy and professionalism.
Ability to lift, position, and transfer patients and equipment as needed.
Preferred Qualifications ARRT (CT) certification (or willingness / eligibility to obtain within 6–12 months). 1+ year of acute-care imaging experience, including independent overnight work.
Experience with common scanner platforms and post-processing tools.
Schedule & Work Setting Night Shift (7p–7a); may include weekends / holidays based on department needs.
Hospital environment with collaboration across Emergency, Inpatient, and Outpatient areas.
